Correct habits of eating are essential in preserving life. Many lightly take or even disregard these simple, common yet harmful habits of eating when in fact these should be heeded seriously. Unhealthy habits of eating affect the whole being. It weakens physical, mental and even moral faculties of a person. And if these unhealthy habits are left uncorrected, the disease will have its way. 1. Eating Cold or Hot Food/Drink

While cold food or drink is not beneficial, hot drinks are probably not favorable as well. It can create damages on esophagus down to the digestive tracts. Hot drinks may also have an undesirable effect on your internal organs as you ingest it since its temperature is way higher than your body temperature. [2] Accordingly, hot drinks are not required except as a medicine. The stomach is greatly injured by a large quantity of hot food and a hot drink. 2. Eating Speedily

The use of both will often cause distress and inability to put forth mental effort. It is better to have the fruit at one meal and vegetable at another meal.

5. Eating Late Suppers

If you take the third meal, it should be light to give the digestive organs rest. If more food is eaten, the digestive organs are called in motion to perform the same round of labor while you sleep. The result of which is often unpleasant dreams and in the morning you wake up exhausted and feels so heavy. Moreover, research found that eating just before going to bed increases your blood sugar.
